

This suit makes much mroe sense to be done as a second attempt. It had obvious influences from different types of sportwear and athletic suits, the bottom of the boots were athletic shoes, the fingertips had special little rubber things on them that indicated they were to allow his fingers to stick through the material, it was fairly obvious the red on the suit was all screen printed on (you could tell in close-ups because some of the blue would bleed through), you could visibly see the seams, and web shooters, of course. There were no seams, there were no holes for the webs, and unless you have a 3D printer, you can't make those raised webs on your own. The Raimi suit was nice, but there's no way in hell a broke teenager with no (shown) experience with a sewing machine could have made that suit. They didn't change the suit for the last film because they didn't want to use the same suit, they changed it for practicality reasons.
